i want to love and squeeze this cute little girly forever and ever!! her beautiful curls, and her chubby little cheeks, and just stop with that rockin’ outfit!! she is the only girl (she has two big brothers and a little baby brother) and has the best closet ever. her mom buys her these funky cute pieces, a photographers dream…

and here are her two crazy big brothers…

in the first two minutes of this session i was already sweating, gotta love it! they ran crazy and i chased, my definition of fun! the energy they have, it’s contagious, it fills you up but wears you out…how is that possible??
lately i’ve been photographing a lot of seniors, prego’s, and newborns, this was a whole ‘nother animal. the kind you can’t tame. its my favorite
these kids are filled with sunshine. the first time i met them they definitely melted me with their beautiful smiles and personalities, i’m in love!

this shoot was one of the most fun family shoots i have had in a long time. they were so laid back, weren’t afraid of acting silly (they’ve got talent in the silly area
), and they smiled a lot. my kind of people! lisa and rob are getting married soon, so we threw in some shots of just the two of them too…

and that is actually his real haircolor! its this cinnamon red brow that is so beautiful you cant believe its real…

this beauty is one of sister sylvie’s friends. i LOVE her face! her skin, her eyes, her face shape, her freakin gorgeous hair!!! she was soooooo much fun to photograph, we had to stop shooting or else i would have been going through too many amazing images and debating over how i was going to pick which ones to edit out!! it’s a hard knock life, right?
i’ve know her for a number of years and it is crazy to think that she is going to graduate this next year. sylvie is going to graduate with her, class of 2010!
hold up!
sylvie was supposed to be my cute little bitty baby sister that loved to play make believe, cried when you made fun of her super fat garfield-like cat, was soooo shy, never talked about boys, called my dad before she went to bed any night she wasnt home…even at my house
wow how things have changed…and so has this girly:
its soooo unfair! how come i couldnt have looked this cute and stylish when I was 17???????? oh yeah, there wasnt a target back then, how did we ever survive??

hugs,
Willow

when i do a consultation i ask if my client has any ideas about how they want to be photographed, where, styles they have seen and loved etc. i want to make their session tailored to who they are right now, seen through my lens.
alex had a cool idea to do something that resembled a photo booth. whenever she is out and she runs into one, she hops in the booth and makes a strip of images that she will then put inside her parents medicine cabinet or other places around the house. how cute is that?
when she came for her photo booth session, she brought some cool sunglasses, a tiara, a long string of pearls, her ipod, and her phone. she has inspired me with this cool idea, now all the seniors from now on can add this onto their session for a little something different!
i know when i’m in a photobooth i act all crazy, make silly faces, and let loose! why not? everyone loves a photo booth! it’s now getting popular to have one at your wedding, your guests get a little something to take home to remember their time there when they were drunk (usually) and silly, woo hoo!
alex used these two stips for the announcements i designed for her. seniors, you dont have to have the regular ones you order at school! break out and do something different than all the rest of your friends! here is alex’s take on the photobooth, i just love her images, it was a ton of fun photographing her this way…
