k-first off, this nice weather is soooooo nice to photograph peeps in!! i love some sunny hair and bright eyes, feels soooooooooooo good, makes me love every image!
i was driving to the studio the other day and i saw this couch. most people would just look at it and wonder when the city of tacoma was going to stop by and junk the thing. i see photoshoot!
i was born in ‘76 so you can imagine all of the ugly furniture i saw when i was a kid. now its eye appealing to me via childhood nostalgia…
my “client that turned into a friend” jennifer came with and brought one of my fave munchkins, stella, and grace stopped by too, she’s so very sweet. jennifer made the outfits with the turquoise. i sent her an image of the couch and she put something together that night, the girl gets inspired and makes it happen!! she so has an eye for putting colors and outfits together…
i helped jennifer learn something new about her camera and how to expose properly. she’s just getting started, i love being a part of that. i get to save her some of the frustration i had to go through at the beginning when you dont know what the hell you are doing! so cool…
speaking of learning…i’m going to teach a class at the studio on saturday august 28th on how to take better snapshots, a little camera lesson. i’ll send out the info via my newsletter so if you arent a past client and we’re not facebook friends, email me for more info or comment on this post.

just a couple from my session the other day…it was so much fun! i got to run and play with two little girls that like to run and play and have parents that are happy and comfortable in their skin. it was great to see them growing up, the last time i photographed them they were just as cute but a little bit smaller
and the light was PERFECT…
do people say LML? love my life!!!

i photographed him when he was just a little baby and now he is soooo big and full of personality! its crazy how fast a year goes by when you are an adult. if i was 5, a year might as well be a decade, right?
ronnie’s mom has become one of my friends (i love it when that happens, the perks of this job, awesome!). she has an affinity for etsy and her kids are always dressed in cute outfits that are handmade by someone, somewhere in the country.
ronnie was joined by his sister stella. just two of the four kids that make for a crazy life (all four are under 6 years old!). i like that mama split them up, something different, it was fun! I keep balloons at the studio (i bought a helium tank last year) and i just happened to have the perfect colors to make everything come together.
i love my life!!!
