ahhhhhh….

as a business owner, referrals are what make my world go round, like in dollars and cents, pay the bills and all that stuff.

at my heart, i love meeting the new people that referrals bring.  i love talking with people. i ask a lot of questions because i want to know them. i’m like a 3 year old with all the why, how come, why etc.

i love it when people are just people. no front. i love it when they arent afraid to act silly in front of me. when they pour their insides out right in front of me. i’m there ready to scoop and i love every minute.

and i love chubby babies like this one. she has parents that are going to be sooooo good to her. are so good to her. she is one lucky girl. besides the fact that,  judging from her mom and dad, the looks department is all taken care of.

i’ve known craig since he was barely legal, now he’s a daddy! he and marichelle made a very cute little boy and i was glad to be there to help them remember with photographs, a time that they will never forget…

so many expressions

where does the time go? a week and half since my last post…bad blogger…bad.

ok, i’m over it :)

this little girly is cousin to these little muffins. yes, good genes are rampant in this fam :) all of these expressions took place in minutes. i love the cute little shape of her mouth and it just makes me laugh to see her seriously, tortured, wo is me, cry…i cant help it! :) its funny! i know you will be laughing too! :)

darling little ava

i met little ava (i’ll show her off in a little bit) and her parents through my killer clients, kari and steve (and little jack jack, below). i just love how silly and crazy and different this image is. and jack, he’s so passionate :)

kari and steve were one of the first clients that told me i could do what i wanted. they let me take their not yet one year old out around the industrial area by my old studio space. they let me put him on the dirty ground, told me i could do whatever i wanted. i just love those guys, they’ve become friends (one of the many perks of this profession!) and kari (the mama) organizes willow’s wild child day (my yearly client appreciation party). i strive to be as organized as that woman, she is the best!

so anyway, kari introduced me to ava’s mom and i had the chance to hang with their fam for a bit…here’s what came of our time together…

little kids this age just LOVE to push this chair around, it is the cutest thing. i just love ava’s smile, its so intensely happy you cant help but smile when it fills up her face. and she makes the cutest noises too…

and then came the sugar :) we loaded up this little body with a hello cupcake (you know how their frosting is about 2 inches tall??) and she just went crazy! plus we had some balloons and she is bonkers over balloons. i think you can tell in these images, yes?
